Having booked a 10.25am flight to Busan via Eastar Jet (which only cost us S$38 per person), our last day in Jeju was really limited. All we had time to do was drive straight to Jeju International Airpot, return the car, and check in to our flight.
I have to say though, that the car return process with Lotte Rent-a-car was really quick and easy. They didn’t check the car much, and had a shuttle bus to fetch us to the airport right after the return.
Reflection
We started our 5-days Jeju road trip itinerary with some apprehension, but as we look back, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Being able to travel on the road with friends that are close to a decade old makes the entire experience so invaluable.
From driving to sightseeing, to eating, and to living together, it’s such a joy to be able to discover new things in life with people who matter. Even when we had to figure how to left-hand drive, have three people navigate in the dark, and camp at the police station, these are experiences we’re so thankful for, because we’d never have them if not for a trip out together.
