It had been a while since Jan and I last visited the capital of Malaysia, this despite it being a short 45-minute plane ride from Singapore. Thanks to work commitments (again), we ended up traveling to Kuala Lumpur multiple times in 2014.
If there’s anything that Malaysia is reputed for, it’s the wide range of delicious food and growing number of indie cafes – our favorite – and we made sure to visit a number of them while we were there. Feeka Coffee Roasters and VCR Coffee and Cake were among the best of them.

We also managed to visit the award-winning restaurant Acme Bar and Coffee – ABC for short. For brunch on the last day of our first trip, we had the Macaroni and Cheese and Truffle Angel Hair Aglio Olio with Scallops. Mouth-watering.
